Special Education Teacher, Full-Time

We seek a creative, focused and organized teacher who relates to our mission of hospitality, respect and compassion.

Our immediate full-time opening is with our middle school students who have severe and profound disabilities. Our teachers put students first in implementing and developing IEP goals in the classroom and at community sites. You will collaborate with classroom assistants and related services staff, and promote positive relationships with CSTs and families. This position also prepares students’ APA activities and logs according to NJ’s Core Curriculum Standards.

Requirements •    NJ State TSD certification with EE endorsement or NJ TOH required.
•    Teaching experience with students between the ages of 11 and 15 who have complex medical needs.  
•    Ability to lift and position student throughout the day with assistance.
