Description  

 

Sr. HR Coordinator for major sports and entertainment organization in D.C. area to be responsible for all employment related programs, including recruitment and related EEOC reporting, internship opportunities, staff development and training.   Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

 

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

·   Responsible for the entire recruitment process, including developing recruitment strategy, placing ads reviewing resumes and applications, conducting tests as needed, coordinating departmental interviews, notification of application status and completing all related EEOC and HR documentation of the process.

 

-   posts available positions announcements/postings within company and also with Washington D.C.'s Department of Employment Services (DOES).

 

-    gathers and completes all EEO 1 annual report information in order to comply with Affirmative Action Laws.

 

-   maintains the job vacancies on the company's website.

 

·   Manages the internship program for all by working directly with local universities, high schools and trade schools to advertise and recruit, as well as setting up interviews.

 

·   Develops plans and organize training programs with department heads, in order to develop, enhance and improve individual or department’s knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

-   negotiates with outside training vendor’s prices, trades and ensures quality training will be provided.

 

-    produces and distributes training schedules to all appropriate staff, reserve training rooms.

 

·    Acts as a liaison to all employees for all general Human Resources related issues including but not limited to employment, providing Human Resources forms and answering general related questions.

 

·    Acts as liaison with DOES regarding employment, attends meetings, facilitates training for D.C. residents and coordinates D.C. summer youth employment.    

 

·   Assists in the design of department databases in order to keep information organized.

 

·   Fulfills other general office requests from the Director of Human Resources.

 

·  Related duties as assigned.

Requirements

·   Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Speech Communication or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

·   2-3 years of Human Resources experience, with prior employment and recruitment experience required.

 

·    Strong computer skills.
