Description
Our client is seeking a Software Developer/Technical Analyst to perform a variety of duties including: providing senior level analytical and problem solving skills when addressing and resolving issues, assessing possible systems impacts, and recommending technical solutions. As Software Developer/Technical Analyst you will analyze the Company's business and systems processes and provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and consultants to ensure all ADRM standards and procedures are met for a variety of complex applications. The Software Developer/Technical Analyst will utilize technical skills to design, develop, and test technical solutions to business problems.
Candidate must be very comfortable sitting at a computer all day Seeking an individual who is academically minded, goal oriented, and interested in growing with a company.
Additional Specifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in software development
- At least 3 years of design and analysis experience using UML and Object-Oriented methodology
- Sound and hands-on experience (atleast 4 years) with Java, J2EE (EJB, JMS, JTA, JSP, JNDI), SQL / DB2, Struts, Java Script and ANT
- Hands-on experience using Application Servers like Weblogic, Websphere or JBoss
- Hands-on experience with IDE tools like Eclipse, JBuilder, IntelliJ and configuration management tools like CVS, Clear Case and Clear Quest.
- Exposure to rule engines like iLog and Drools is a plus
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Knowledge and experience with Secondary Mortgage industry is a plus
- Any certifications in J2EE is a plus
- Knowledge in VB6.0, VB.NET/ASP.NET and IIS is desired.
