Summary


HB Rentals is currently hiring for a General Maintenance Technician to join their team. This individual will clean and prepare mobile homes water tanks, sewage tanks, generators and light plants.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Packs axel bearings and prepare mobile homes for transport such as wash exterior and move furniture.
  • Clean, paint and restencil water and sewage tanks.
  • Clean and service generators and light plants.
  • Keeps shop and work areas clean and organized.
  • Assists housekeeping technicians to ensure mobile homes are stocked with supplies.
  • Legibly fill out maintenance reports and time sheets.
  • Writes Job Safety Report, a formal report that lists potential hazards at a location.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education


  • High School or G.E.D.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and understanding English. Excellent communication skills, even in noisy environments.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, resolve problems and manage time.
  • Conduct self in professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to stay alert as to make safe decisions and use proper judgment. Maintain awareness of surroundings, for example, work performed by others.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Receive constructive feedback in a positive manner.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Physical Demands


  • Generally works in conventional warehouse, storage yard environment, but may be required to travel to field locations. Must be able to work in all kinds of weather.
  • Prolonged Standing and Walking. Bending/Stooping/Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling. Overhead Work, Twisting/ Rotation Climb stairs and ladders. Lift and carry. Good static and dynamic balance.
  • Wears personal protective equipment.
  • Good fine motor skills, coordination, range of motion and grip strength. Good auditory skills, for example, to hear the PA system and have conversations in noisy environments.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift to move equipment.
  • Weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
