Description

Horizon Health has an excellent opportunity for a Community Education Manager at our client hospital, Coosa Valley Medical Center, in Sylacauga, AL.

This person will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing program for the hospital's 15-bed, inpatient Geriatric Psychiatric Program and Intensive Outpatient Program.

The Community Education Manager, in conjunction with the unit’s Program Director, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive community education program. He/she coordinates the referral development/sales process, develops and maintains accurate community education information and account management systems, as well as coordinating the unit’s internal and external communications program.

Self directed professional with minimum 2-3 years of direct sales experience in healthcare. (Behavioral Health/Mental Health experience a plus).

**Proven ability to enhance utilization of hospital services is essential.
