Banking Senior Branch Representative

If you answered yes to these questions, then Western Federal Credit Union is the place for you!  Western is seeking a Senior Branch Representative for the Rancho Carmel branch, a one-person office.  The Senior Branch Representative will perform a number of duties related to branch operations, including teller transactions, opening new accounts, and lending functions.  Multitasking is required and a positive outlook is a must!

This position is responsible for the following:

· Performs duties of a Teller and Member Service Representative consisting of opening new accounts including IRAs, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan advances and payments and processing loans

· Daily balancing of the branch including checks, travelers cheques, and cash

· Accepting and inputting loan applications, processing, and funding

· Ensuring branch meets all Credit Union audit standards and regulatory compliance

· Answering member inquiries and operational questions and updates member information in computer system

· Cross-sells Credit Union products and services

· Unsecuring and securing the office

The successful candidate will possess the following:

· Two years related experience in a financial institution

· Thorough knowledge of all Teller and New Accounts functions

· Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups

· The ability to work well with little or no supervision

· Proficient with computers and word processing applications

· High school diploma or equivalent
