Description
The Registered Nurse demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The nurse must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, and implement and evaluate nursing care for a specific patient or group of patients. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care and assigns/delegates patient care activities to other qualified members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
This position is in our Critical Unit consisting of a 12 bed ICU and a 7 bed PCU Unit. Full-time, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Requirements
Education:
· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
License/ Certification:
· Valid current or temporary license as a RN in PA
· Current BLS (CPR) Provider status
· ACLS
· PALS
Experience:
· One year Med-Surg experience preferred
· Critical Care experience required
Skills:
· Ability to prioritize patient needs, seek consultation, and to perform duties for diverse patient populations
· Effective interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
