Job Description

A privately- owned food manufacturing company with 4 plants nationwide is seeking a Plant Engineer for one of their facilities, located outside of Raleigh, NC.

 

Overview

The Plant Engineer will manage all plant engineering functions, plant maintenance and new capital projects for a food manufacturing facility with 300 plus employees.

 

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a group of maintenance technicians.
  • Utilize planned downtime for scheduled maintenance and work orders.
  • Monitor plant equipment to ensure optimal operations and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime.
  • Develop Preventative Maintenance programs.

 



Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field.
  • 5 plus years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong PLC experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing desired.
  • Understanding of OSHA, USDA, EPA and FDA regulations.
