We specialize in hourly nursing care ranging from 2-24 hours per day up to 7 days per week with a focus in the rural markets. ·         Current Registered Nurse license in good standing

·         Knowledge of the Federal and State Home Health regulations

·         Participation in Professional Advisory Group Meetings

·         Interact with clients, families, physicians, and other team members

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Exceptional marketing and recruiting abilities

·         Ability to work independently and as a team leader

·         Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Requirements

EDUCATION:

Degree from and accredited school of nursing; BSN or equivalent preferred; RN license without restrictions in state(s) of practice; prefer minimum of one year clinical experience in home health required with three years experience as an RN.

  

EXPERIENCE / TRAINING: 

Active participation in continuing education for professional growth. Occasional OSHA training and others needed or desired.

 

EQUIPMENT: 

Must be capable of independent operation of general office equipment including computer and related tools, facsimile machine, telephone, copier, etc.

 

JUDGEMENT AND INTIATIVE: 

Must work well with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate good initiative in the assignment and follow-up tasks to other staff members.

 

COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS: 

Must communicate well both verbally and in writing.

 

WORK CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: 

Occasional exposure to hazardous substances and infectious diseases.  Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of approximately fifty pounds.

  

TRAVEL: 

Travel required to perform this job and may include overnight.
