SALES REPRESENTATIVE - AUTO INSURANCE

American Independent Companies, Inc., an automobile insurance company specializing in the nonstandard auto market has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative responsible for the territory which includes the state of Illinois and some adjoining areas in Indiana. This individual will partner with agencies to market and sell the company’s nonstandard auto product throughout the assigned territory. Responsibilities include appointing new agents, servicing those agencies with existing nonstandard auto business and being a visible part of the insurance community.

Requirements Position requires previous insurance experience preferably in the nonstandard auto market, proven field marketing and sales experience, and excellent communication skills. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of the Illinois and Indiana auto insurance markets including the Chicago area. Must be a self-starter and able to travel throughout the territory.
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
