Description
§ Perform accounting and tax related functions that pertain to inventory, cost and sales accounting.
§ Prepare Business Consolidation System input and reconciliation.
§ Ensure all inventory shipped is billed and revenue is matched with appropriate selling expenses. Manage obsolete inventory.
§ Take lead role on finance participation in cycle counting as well as in preparing link between physical inventory counts and subsidiary ledgers.
§ Participate as an active member of the Material Review Board.
§ Maintain and reconcile Business Information Warehouse sales volumes, net sales dollars and gross margin to the P 7 L reports.
§ Performs all tax and legal requirements related to accounts payable, cost and sales accounting.
§ Acts as key user for SAP SEM functionally for DSM Resins
Requirements
§ Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting related position, experience with multiple state accounting practices preferred.
§ SAP experience with Accounting, Controlling, Manufacturing, and Sales and Distribution modules preferred
§ Requires an exceptional adherence to detail, efficiency and accuracy.
§ Strong human relations and organizational skills are essential
§ Must be a self starter and have the ability to work without close supervision.
§ Quick Learner
Must be highly proficient with computer software packages, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, Internet Explorer, accounting, portals, and web based packages
