Maintenance Supervisor

• Located in North West Ohio: a very low cost of living location
• Our client has been in business for 25 years, has very unique products that have applications in many diverse industries, and is growing steadily.
• Our client is very profitable with a solid market niche. Over the last year they have been making upgrades to the management team and manufacturing processes.
• The local plant employees around 20 people

• Join a new Dir. of Ops as he builds his team and moves this facility forward. This is a new position that will be responsible for supervising a small maintenance staff and for implementing a lean environment.
• First shift hours
• Small manufacturing plant, division of a larger, international firm.
• Growth potential

• Repairing equipment throughout plant
• Responsible for increasing output as a result of your ability to eliminate downtime by implementing lean and TPM
• Set up Preventative Maintenance (PM) Programs.
• Implementing software system

• Previous foundry maintenance experience in manufacturing
• 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, 10 years hands-on experience and knowledge
• Maintenance planning skills and excellent PC skills
• Experience with dry material handling ( e.g. crushing, screening, mixing ) a plus
• Previous employment in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
