Description of Director of Nursing - Long Term Care: 

We are in search of a Director of Nursing for direct placement at one of our highly reputable, customer focused clients, located in Minneapolis, MN. This position is ideal for an established Director of Nursing or a Nurse Manager with proven successes and a serious desire to grow in a Director of Nursing role. Candidates must have a solid clinical background in Long Term Care and understands Operations.

Requirements :

• Current Minnesota RN license; prefer 4-year Nursing degree.
• Proven RN Management skills in long term care.
• Solid clinical knowledge base and comfortable level with Operations.
• Strategic and innovative thinker.
• Excellent leadership, communication and customer service orientation.
• Able to build solid relationships with all levels of staff, interdisciplinary team, residents and families
