Description Part time position available for Business Consultant's Assistant.  I own an Area Development Franchise license for Servpro Industries, Inc.  Servpro is a nationwide franchise system providing fire and water cleanup and restoration for the residential, commerical, and property insurance markets.  Nationwide, we are a $1 billion company.  As a Trainer (Area Development Manager) my responsiblities include acting as a Business Consultant to the Servpro Associate Franchises within my territory.  I am tasked with helping them grow and improve their businesses, increase profitability, offer technical training, offer leadership and management growth, as well as enforcement of the franchise license requirements.

I am seeking a part time person to assist me with visiting the Associate Franchises to fullfill the requirements placed upon me by our Corporate office.  The candidate will possess the ability to learn the technical aspects of our industry as well as the computer software programs.  Candidate must also have the experience necessary to offer advice to franchise concerning business related matters, including but not limited to, sales and marketing, employee hiring, job profitability, etc.  Candidate must be flexible and open to learning new methods of business and must be willing to consult within the boundaries set for them.

This time required for this position will be 2-3 days per week.  It is a very flexible position.  Travel is required.  Most travel is within North Carolina and can be done in one day, meaning most is not overnight stay.  However, there are occassions where overnight stay will be required such as for out of town meetings, etc.  Candidate will be required to attend training at our Corporate office in Tennessee.  This training consists of 4 total weeks.  Two weeks up front with the other two weeks broken up over successive months after hire. 

Candidate MUST have experience in Mangement or Business Ownership with an emphasis on sales preferred.  The schedule for the candidate can be flexible.  Pay will be a salary plus bonus based on performance.  Travel expenses and car expenses will be paid when travel is necessary.

Understanding of current computer technology and basic software knowledge
Experienced in sales, management, and/or business ownership
Willing to travel when necessary
