The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing educational instruction to assigned students in a structured classroom environment designed to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth. He/She will develop teaching plans that are appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents (ages 5 - 22 years) with emotional, developmental, physical and/or behavioral needs.We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement.

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Service Field or Psychology.
Must have a Pennsylvania teaching certificate in special education.
Must have strong teaching skills with emphasis on students who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged.Experience or interest in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis is required. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Ability to train and supervise peers, assistants and aides while working within the classroom setting. Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
Prefer at least one (1) year experience with specialized populations, experience with special education curriculums. A valid U.S. state driver’s license, with 2 years of verifiable driving experience, is required. Applicants must also be at least 21 years of age.
