Software QA Analyst Lead
Portland, OR

 

Bring your quality analysis expertise to the following role:

 

  • Provide team leadership in the management of Software Quality Assurance Testing being completed by both Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Software Quality Engineers. The team includes members that are responsible for developing test cases, both manual and automated, executing tests, tracking defects and building robust and extendable test automation infrastructure.
  • Work with many groups within IT and with the business to ensure high quality testing.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated, with a passion for growing their team members QA skills, and contain the ability to work in a very dynamic workplace.
 
Job Requirements

Combine your degree and test engineering with the following skills:
System Admin III:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4 years test engineering experience with 2 years of experience working on complex projects.
  • 4 years of experience leading and mentoring test staff;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and 7 years test engineering experience with 2 years of experience working on complex projects and 4 years of experience leading and mentoring test staff;
  • Or 7 years of experience in test engineering, 2 years of experience working on complex time-boxed projects and 2 years of experience leading and managing test staff.

 

This experience will be demonstrated with:

 

    - Experience using Rational Software's suite of products or other testing tools
    - Experience writing automated testing scripts
    - Experience working with business partners in writing detailed test plans

  • Understand organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies.
  • Ability to manage human resources, adjust schedule and priority in respond to business needs.
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and effectively participate in multiple projects and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and lead individuals, peers and business teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with variety of customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a group to achieve common goals.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with co-workers.
  • Strong customer service attitude and skills.
  • Experience or training in project management techniques is a plus.
