Medical Office Administrator -  Receptionist  Part Time,  Norwich NY 13815

Hangerger Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. currently has an excellent  opportunity for an experienced part time office administrator receptionist in its Norwich NY Patient Cares Center. Qualified applicants will have no less than 3 years related medical office receptionst billing and collections experience and a positive, professional demeanor. Job duties will include but not limited to:

 

  • Answer phones, greet clients, patients. 
  • Billing, Medical collections and insurance authorization - verification.

  • Filing, general correspondence, billing & collections.    
  • Data entry, compliance with Medicare, ACHA and other governing agencies.

  • General correspondence, processing incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Maintain cash collections and accounts receivable balances to established goals.

  • Support a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and growth.

Requirements
  • 3+ years previous medical office receptionist experience. 

  • Proficient in using MS Office software.

  • Professional enthusiastic attitude and demeanor.

  • Strong interpersonal / communications skills, spanish is a plus!

  • Experience with ICD9 coding & HCFA 1500’s & EOB’s. 

  • Stable job history with professional references.
