Description

Lorien Columbia, a family owned and family focused employer is now seeking GNA/Geriatric Nursing Assistants for a 209 bed skilled nursing rehab and long term care center.

 

  • Part-time and PRN positions available for all shifts 
  • Full time positions available for Nights and Evening shifts


    Provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor.

    Every other weekend off! Set schedule rotations available.

Requirements Current Maryland Board of Nursing certification as a GNA with a minimum 1 year experience!

Specific Requirements:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and other personnel.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Treats all employees, residents, and visitors with respect and dignity.
  • Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
  • Must provide documentation of such certification upon application for the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the work place.
