ABOUT US:

Atlantic Engineering Group is an engineering and construction company dedicated since 1996 to municipal, electric utility, and corporate outside plant projects. We design and build Fiber to the Premises; SmartGrid; Metropolitan Area Networks; Wide Area Networks; Railroad Right of Way Projects; Long Haul Projects; DOE, RUS and NTIA projects; and other allied municipal and utility underground and/or aerial construction.

AEG has participated in over sixty-five (65) outside plant projects since 1996 including 17 Fiber to the Home (FTH) city wide, county wide or multiple community wide projects.



POSITION:

Atlantic Engineering Group is seeking a professional and qualified person to fill our Marketing and Promotion Associate position.  This position  is critical to the success of AEG  in its efforts to both maintain our current market share and to further expand our footprint into other arenas.  This job reports directly to the Director of Business Development and has interaction with all upper management including the CEO, CSO, COO, and CTO.

DUTIES:

• Work with the business development team to create, organize, facilitate, write and create  RFP responses for work  in our  telecommunications niche.  This work can include highly detailed government RFP responses.

• Manage an advertising/marketing budget in a collaborative effort with the Director of Business Development.

• Coordinate  trade magazine advertising 

• Manage marketing content on the AEG website, and format of the website

• Coordination and management of trade organization memberships

• Organization and planning of events such as attendance at trade shows, conferences,  and appearances and presentations by AEG management

• Assist with the preparation of marketing documents, including power point presentation material

Marketing and Promotion Associate

          
                     

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

·Experience in the telecommunications industry with a focus on Fiber Optic Networks for the offering of Triple Play services is a plus

·Experience working with the governmental sector a strong plus, particularly the practice of responding to complex, highly detail bid documents

·         College Degree Preferred

·         Strong Writing Skills required

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

·         Strong Interpersonal Skills

·         Must be willing to Travel 10-15%
