Job Description
The Sales Executuve (SE) for Acxiom Xpress will be responsible for the strategic development & sales for assigned accounts that result in maximized revenue for Acxiom Xpress.

New Client Acquisition:
*The SE is responsible for finding and closing new logo opportunities (B&C accounts).
*The SE will leverage leads supplied by the company as well as their own talent with prospecting and cold calling.
*The SE’s main concentration will be on building and maintaining a professional consultative sales relationship with multiple prospects at once and managing that relationship through the entire sales cycle.
*All communication is to be documented and should be noted in our contact management system.

Retention & Growth:
*The SE will work with the Sr. Account Executives (AE) & Account Managers (AM) to develop strategic sales plans for customers as it relates to data and data analytic projects.
*The SE will be proactive in regards to identifying growth opportunities for existing clients and work with the AM to develop those opportunities.
*The SE will partner with the AM in consulting with existing clients and growing them to the next level.
*All communication is to be documentation should be listed in our contact management system.

Sales Expectations and Goals:
*Responsible for making at minimum, 75 prospecting calls per week—all documentation must be listed in our contact management system.
*Responsible for closing at least three (3) new logos per month.
*Develop comprehensive sales plan and appropriately assign sales tasks to team members as necessary.
*Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual team sales forecasts.
*Set up meetings and attend all appropriate trade shows.
*Review order log for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and work with AM to maximize opportunity.

Managerial:
*Participation in weekly sales management meetings with Senior AE and Team Leader.
*Development of meeting schedule with assigned account staff. 
 
Financial:
*Develop budgets for all assigned accounts.
*Provide account information as needed to accounting department.
*Alert accounting of any customers going bankrupt, having financial difficulties, etc.
Job Requirements
Standard Qualifications:
*2 plus years of successful large account management experience.
*2 plus years of successful outbound, prospecting experience.
*Proven abilities for identifying and closing new business opportunities.
*Proven solution selling skills.
*Ability to interact with C-level clients and prospects.
*Possess relationships with key contacts within direct marketing industry.
*Successful direct marketing sales experience.
*Travel nationally as required.
*Ability to create proposals and deliver presentations.
*Computer literacy; must display proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel.
*Ability to work independently within team environment.
*Effective use of CRM tool. 
 
Preferred Experience:
*Exposure to advanced product solutions (data enhancements, hygiene, email, appending, multiple data sourced solutions).
*BA/BS degree in advertising, marketing or business or equivalent work experience.
