Summary: This position will manage, support and participate in new business development and sales generation by actively prospecting, calling and selling The Daniel Group services to hiring managers in businesses within a designated territory. This position will be responsible for developing new accounts through cold calling, as well as account management and maintenance. Candidates with excellent territory management, prospecting, appointment setting and relationship-selling skills will develop staffing solutions for local companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (scope):
• Generate leads through cold calling and telemarketing efforts
• Qualify new business opportunities
• Use creative resources to gain new clients
• Penetrate accounts and develop relationships with hiring managers in multiple departments to increase and promote cross-selling
• Understand clients’ business and specific staffing needs
• Actively pursue new business opportunities while representing Dan Temps, Inc.
• Evaluate and understand new and existing client business operations, markets and trends to identify potential business opportunities and initiate sales efforts
• Oversee the negotiation, execution and management of all client-related contracts
• Strategize with teammates to accomplish weekly business growth goals
• Meet and exceed sales quotas set by management team
• Promote and build name recognition for Dan Temps, Inc. in your local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events.
• Participate in job fair representation and other internal or external promotional events as required
• Participate and contribute to the sales and marketing team
• Assume additional related responsibilities as assigned
• Update information in CRM database daily
Qualifications Needed for Success in Position:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven successful track record in B2B sales
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
• Proficiency with Outlook, CRM databases, and Microsoft products.
Education and/or Experience:
• Four (4) year college degree in Business or Marketing/Salesequivelent exp.
• 2 years experience in B2B sales
