Description
Manufacturing Engineer Final Test
Summary:
Design work with engineering and manufacturing personnel, lead and develop new testing/production work stations which provide for increased productivity, safety, ergonomics or automation. Interact with vendors, suppliers and machine shop personnel, acquire equipment, fabricate, debug, train and transfer site to production. Assist with training and monitoring operator performance to documented procedures. Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel to smoothly transfer new products to factory floor. Develop procedures and checklists for manufacturing personnel to follow. Train manufacturing personnel on new product test procedures. Troubleshoot and maintain workstations and product throughput by troubleshooting and resolving problems from product components and electronic boards to work station related issues. Assist production personnel with daily instructions on process. Some hands on production support in time of resource constraint will be needed. Liaison with Quality Control, support MRB, and processing test samples as required.
Requirements
Manufacturing Engineer Final Test
· BS in Engineering or equivalent
· Experience with Defense related manufacturing processes a must
· Knowledge of fiber optics and test equipment a must.
· VB6 or Labview experience a plus.
· Microsoft Access experience a plus.
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
· Ability to organize, with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Must be able to work independently and as a high performance team member
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder(Permanent Resident).
· Must possess strong analytical skills
