Design Engineer

Systemair Manufacturing is the North American subsidiary of Systemair, Sweden, a global leader and innovator in the ventilation industry. The company’s commercial, industrial and residential ventilation products are sold throughout North America under the Fantech brandname.  

 
Midwest manufacturer and distributor of residential commercial, industrial and residential ventilation products is currently searching for a Design Engineer who enjoys taking projects from the design stage through to product introduction.   

• The ideal candidate will work with a team to analyze product requirements and formulate product designs. 

• Experience with testing methodologies, finite element analysis, sound, vibration and modal analysis in predicting product life is desirable. 

• The individual in this position will also display the ability to interpret and present detailed drawings of parts and assemblies; specify materials, and establish bill of materials. 

• Familiarity working with 3D CAD engineering programs; ProEngineer experience is a plus. 

•  A candidate with a background in the HVAC field, air movement, and sheet metal design is preferred.
