Description

We are hiring a Director of Marketing to help market our growing list of software products. You will contribute significantly to all stages of marketing and work closely with the CEO to plan and implement the company's marketing strategy.  You must be go-getter that thrives in a fast-paced environment.  This is a new position you will be an integral part of the future growth and success of the company. 

 

 

Specific responsibilities include:

·         Definition, development, and dissemination of product messages, value propositions, and positioning.

·         Creation of marketing materials including whitepapers, presentations and other related documents.

·         Development of marketing and sales tools for internal and external use including ROI tools, product demos, and other related tools.

·         Management of cross-functional teams and resources necessary to ensure the successful and timely definition, release, and ongoing enhancement of marketing materials.

·         Management of marketing campaigns, including the development of short and long copy for marketing programs and testing/measuring of campaign copy effectiveness.

·         Preparing analytical data concerning lead generation and marketing program effectiveness.

·         Researching, proposing and developing other marketing programs, such as advertising opportunities for the company and its products.

·         Work with sales and other related departments to ensure a referencable customer base and industry analyst exposure.

·         Developing annual product marketing goals, plan and budget, with ongoing budget responsibilities.

 

 

Requirements

·         BA/BS or equivalent relevant experience required (MBA preferred) plus a minimum of 10 years professional experience in a product marketing role, preferably in a software related field.

·         Very strong writing skills that demonstrate the ability to be concise, fast, and able to listen to discussion and come back with a solid draft.



·         Energetic and dedicated.



·         A strong understanding of the software market.
