Description A local manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer. This position is requiring a background in extrusion and strong mechanical engineering. Hands on project engineering skills within a cross-functional group are required. Familiarity with best-practices principles like Six Sigma and Total Quality Management (TQM) are preferred.

A person with a strong manufacturing background and a track-record of developing and implemented innovative solutions would fit in well within the company. This is a high paced environment and is looking for someone who works well under pressure and handles major projects in a timely fashion. This position will be in charge of scoping the project, writing the capital request, and executing the project.

This role reports directly to the plant manager and is very open as far as growth and career success!

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
3+ years of direct Project Engineer experience
3+ years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Paper Manufacturing experience preferred
