We are seeking a bridge design engineer to perform duties developing design calculations and design drawings; interpretation of applicable standards and codes insuring conformance; meeting bridge layout requirements and developing alternative layouts where required by site-specific conditions; and ensuring compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, and specifications. Occasional travel is required.
Qualifications:
Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 4 to 6 years of structural design experience related to bridges. Must be registered as a professional engineer in Missouri. Experience working on MODOT projects is strongly preferred. Expertise with SAP2000, MicroStation, LEAP, or similar programs is required. Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.
