Job Description 

  • Successful candidate will be on the Harris Healthcare team
  • Responsible for leading the design of Health Information Exchange Architectures
  • Applies Healthcare Information Technology knowledge and experience to the development of new and innovative architectures
  • Looks for commonality across architectural solutions
  • Provides technical leadership on both development and proposal efforts

    Job Requirements 

    Qualifications:

    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 15 years relevant experience in related field; MS preferred
    • Demonstrated experience architecting health information exchanges
    • 6 or more years experience with architecture modeling tools (UML)
    • 6 or more years designing service oriented architectures for healthcare IT projects
    • 3 or more years experience leading teams performing systems architectures for healthcare IT projects
    • Familiarity with object-oriended anaylsis and design

     

     

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, interpersonal and team building skills
    • Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams
    • Proven ability to drive projects with medium to large scope and complexity
    • Demonstrated ability to systematically gather relevant information from different sources to address issues and make prompt and insightful decisions
    • Experience in the following technologies strongly preferred:
    • Open source software projects
    • Agile project management methodologies
    • Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Practitioner
