Family Centered Specialists Needed in Maryland

The Institute for Family Centered Services (IFCS), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving families through innovative in-home counseling, seeks candidates for the following positions:

            Family Centered Specialist: Montgomery County located in Gaithersburg, MD

            Family Centered Specialist: Southern Maryland (PG County located in Landover, MD)

            Family Centered Specialist: Baltimore County located in Baltimore, MD

Our family counselors serve families by providing in-home family counseling, comprehensive assessments, intensive case management, sex offender treatment, substance abuse treatment, and family support services. Primary responsibility is to provide the Family Centered Treatment™; a model of Intensive In-Home Family Preservation Services. Adjunct services provided with a family systems perspective include: group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention.

The responsibilities of the Family Centered Specialist (FCS) include individual, family, and group therapy; case management; and crisis intervention.  Family systems focus.

Required experience: Related Bachelors Degree. 

Preferred experience:  Related Bachelors Degree with 2 years field experience.
