Job Requirements

Candidates for the position of Nurse Practitioner – Collaborative Practice Agreement – Heart Services at Barnes-Jewish Hospital must possess:

  • Minimum of one year of NP experience in an inpatient acute setting

  • Prior cardiology experience
  • Current State of Missouri RN license
  • NP certification in the State of Missouri
  • Current APRN licensure or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • BLS certification

As Nurse Practitioner – Collaborative Practice Agreement – Heart Services working full-time nights (12-hour shifts), you will be responsible for:
 

  • Providing superior clinical care using nursing best practices

  • Acting as clinical educator if needed to support staff members on annual competencies, new procedures and advanced practice skills
