IT Help Desk job duties:
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software or network
- Install new software on users computers
- Clean, modify and repair computer hardware including monitors, keyboard and printers
- Authoring training manuals
- Presenting training classes
- Evaluation of company hardware and software
- Provide good customer service to phone calls or emails
PC Desktop Technician job duties:
- Support a robust Microsoft based network running Windows Server and Exchange. Server
- Monitor daily activity
- Assist with purchase orders for hardware and software procurement & other administrative duties. Install and maintain network hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot network usage and computer peripherals.
- Install new users.
- Install new applications.
- Perform system backups and data recovery.
- Resolve network communication problems independently.
- Assist with PC installation, maintenance, E-mail administration, disk capacity monitoring and network security.
Junior Network Administrator job duties:
- Prepare quotes/work estimates
- Responsible for reliability of local network systems
- Installation, daily operations and troubleshooting of server hardware, software and network components
- Administrate various services such as file- and printing system, e-mail system, security, virus protection, firewall, DNS, External ISP, Web Services
- Administration of various systems such as: Windows, UNIX and Linux
- Maintain daily operation of Backup-Systems
- Participate in a variety of network projects
- Perform network administration, including user and printer setup, security and authorization
- Provide Level 2 desktop support
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Appropriate Industry Certifications.
