Description The Senior Accounting Financial Analyst:

* Perform month end close entries to the general ledger as assigned.

* Performs and/or reviews balance sheet account reconciliations.

* Ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and controls

* Perform analysis of balance sheet reconciliation items as assigned.

* Facilitate the adoption of our new Global Finance Platform and Corporate Finance policies.

* Implement streamlining tactics to continue to reduce time on recurring tasks.

* Perform ad-hoc analysis to assist in critical business decision support as requested.

* Provide back up support for associates who are out of the office.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA required
4+ years previous accounting experience (public company and service industry preferred)
Experience with consolidations and eliminations
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex technical accounting issues
Strong excel skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to partner and communicate with Finance associates across the globe
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
Strong team player, high energy level and willing to take initiative
