Job Description

Class “B “Driver:

 

The Class B Driver will be supporting our Lab Pack operations. You will be partnered with a field chemist and be responsible for packaging of chemical waste at colleges, universities, hospitals, pharmaceutical cpmanies as well as any other customer site that generated laboratory quantities of chemical waste.The Class “B" Driver is responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a Clean Harbors facility and/or an outside disposal facility adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) and hazardous waste regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste adheres to weight and ensuring the proper utilization of company equipment. In addition you will comply with company policies & procedures, DOT, HAZMAT and RCRA requirements/regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining daily logs, timesheets, expenses reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports. This position requires up to 50% overnight travel.

 

 


Job Requirements 

A minimum of 12 months experience hauling hazardous materials with Hazmat Endorsements and a clean driving record is required. Hazwoper training is a plus. Previous Lab Pack experience strongly preferred
