We have manufacturing capabilities throughout North America and Europe and a market presence in nearly every region of the world.  Join us as we continue to evolve.  Belden Inc.’s manufacturing facility located in Monticello, Kentucky is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer.  Monticello has a population of approximately 6,000 people and is located about 100 miles south of Lexington, Kentucky.

SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - Datacom

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing major projects related to new products, equipment, and systems for Belden’s data product line.
• Maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external customers, sales, marketing, vendors and suppliers.
• Working with Belden Engineering Center to develop and design new products, processes, and equipment.
• Reducing scrap in assigned areas and implementing corrective actions.
• Training machine operators on new equipment and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of data product experience is required
• Bachelor’s Degree in  Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
