CLIENT COMPANY IS A VERY SUCCESSFUL PUBLICLY TRADED NATIONALLY KNOWN MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR SPECIALTY RETAILER BASED IN TENNESSEE.
THE DIRECTOR OF RETAIL ACCOUNTING WILL DIRECT THE COMPANY'S GENERAL ACCOUNTING, FIXED ASSETS, SALES AUDIT, AND CASH MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS. ENSURES THE ORGANIZATION'S COMPLIANCE WITH GAAP.
WORKS WITH IS IN IMPLEMENTING AND DEVELOPING NEW SYSTEMS FOR DEPARTMENTS AS NEEDS DEVELOP.
THE DIRECTOR OF RETAIL ACCOUNTING IS THE TEAM LEADER IN DIRECTING RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL CLOSING OF ACCOUNTING PERIODS.
DIRECTS AND WORKS CLOSELY WITH SALES AUDIT DEPARTMENT PROVIDING DIRECTION AND STRATEGY. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE IN A SIMILAR POSITION WITH A PUBLICLY HELD NATIONAL MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR DEPARTMENT STORE, SPECIALTY RETAILER, OR POSSIBLY RESTAURANT CHAIN.
MUST POSSESS IN DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF GAAP AND FINANCIAL REPORTING AS WELL AS STRONG BACKGROUND IN RETAIL ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE. BS DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING REQUIRED, AS WELL AS CPA.
