Accounting Analyst

• Posting AP into accounting software, manage discrepancies and resolve open issues, research and attention to details

• Work with purchasing department on communications with vendors

• Communication on a regular basis with Payables Supervisor and Management

• Work with receivables department on postings and timing of payments from Customers

  Contact customer on unpaid invoices, ensure accuracy in invoicing, posting of receipts

• Monitor and manage past dues on a weekly basis
• Post sales invoices and submit to customer for payment
• Special projects as assigned (includes auditing accounts, helping ensure procedures are being followed, research and implementation of changes)
• Working with accounting manager on understanding and flow of transactions for improvement and unity
• Reporting improvements and visibility of month end information, including reports to upper management

• Knowledge of company accounting processes and principles
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and company accounting software
• Ability to handle accounting problems with professionalism
• Efficiency and knowledge to produce reports and information to upper management in a timely manner
• Good communication skills as interact with other team members, customers and vendors
• Ability to handle multiple projects with accuracy and within deadlines

Education and Experience:

• High School Degree or equivalency

• Two years payable experience

• Accounting background
