Description

Business Banking / Commercial Lender

Experienced Business Banking/ Commercial Lender needed to direct Business /Commercial Banking operations for Montgomery County and DC region for $400 million bank.

Responsible for attracting and retaining current and new business relationships that are profitable for the Bank.
Manages the region’s loan portfolio; develops, recommends and/or monitors loan product/program offerings and interest rates to insure that customers' needs are met.
Assist customers and potential customers in understanding and utilizing the Bank products and services.
Previous senior level lending authority. Current or previous portfolio in Bethesda/Rockville.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Business/Finance, Marketing or related field preferred.
Minimum 7 to 10 years commercial lending and business development experience.
Must have a minimum 3 years previous supervisory experience of management level/professional staff.
Ability to build and lead a team.
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial lending, credit administration and Bank lending rules and regulations.
Proven record of developing and retaining commercial lending business that is profitable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
