Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Screen, interview and recommend prospective employees to management for sales-related positions. Ensure candidates have a complete understanding and realistic picture of job responsibilities, compensation, training, schedule requirements, benefits, growth opportunities and company history/future.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring Managers. Follow-up with candidates upon completion of interviews. Pre-close candidates on available position and processing background checks, when applicable.
- Work closely with hiring Managers to understand staffing needs, skills, knowledge and abilities necessary for each open position.
- Aggressively search internet databases, including Oracle Applicant Tracking System, for qualified candidates.
- Maintain all candidates’ information within Oracle ATS. Ensure information is accurate, up-to-date and notes are entered for each candidate interviewed. Responsible for preparing new hire paperwork for HR, both manually and in Oracle.
- Extend verbal offers of employment. Obtain approvals from management and coordinate start dates with new hires.
- Prepare all new hires for training and coordinate hotel accommodations (if needed).
- Responsible for recommending changes to online job postings for specific area based on changing business needs and tracking results of said postings.
- Field recruiting. Recruit potential employees from competition and/or other companies. Partner with companies that are closing to assist their employees with possible job placement with Sleepy’s.
- Attend job fairs and coordinate open houses throughout an assigned territory. Seek out new career events to help maximize recruiting efforts.
- Build and maintain network of candidates/sources through LinkedIn and other networking sites.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Maintain and create various recruitment materials, referral logs and reports.
- Remain in compliance with HR laws and adhere to company and department policies and procedures.
- Special projects and additional tasks/administrative duties as assigned by management.
