Registered Nurse  (PRN)
 

The Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the independent delivery of skilled patient care in the patient’s home utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient’s problems and needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care.
  • The RN coordinates, provides and directs patient teaching activities.
  • The RN possesses good interpersonal and teamwork skills and practices within the guidelines regulated by the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act and Home Health, Inc. policies and procedures.
  • All health services are provided in accordance with the orders of the physician.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse with recent experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility.
  • Capable of independently providing safe, quality patient care.
  • Position requires good verbal and written communication skills and good organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent assessment skills and critical thinking are essential.
