Senior Attorney
The successful candidate must have a strong background in commercial transactions and data security, coupled with intellectual property experience. Our Sr. Attorney will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and interpreting complex commercial contracts; managing collections issues and various other projects. They will be reviewing and maintaining corporate legal compliance with the data security/data protection and financial regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafts, reviews and negotiates complex contracts, letter agreements and other legal documentation resort wide with a primary focus on IT service and software license agreements, food service agreements, merchant processing and other financial services agreements, and equipment leases.
- Oversees corporate governance and compliance regarding data security/data protection issues and financial regulation, including but not limited to compliance with FACTA and PCI.
- Dispute resolution with contracted parties; terminations of contracts; oversee bankruptcy and collection issues.
