Lab Tech Supervisor

Systemair Manufacturing is the North American subsidiary of Systemair, Sweden, a global leader and innovator in the ventilation industry. The company’s commercial, industrial and residential ventilation products are sold throughout North America under the Fantech brandname.  

Midwest manufacturer and distributor of residential, commercial and industrial ventilation products is currently searching for a highly motivated, hands-on Test Lab Supervisor with experience in the HVAC field – air movement and sound analysis. 

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for all engineering laboratory testing including maintenance and calibration of equipment. 

• Individual will use appropriate methodologies to perform laboratory tests to analyze temperature, strain, and speed. 

• This position requires the direct involvement with agencies, such as, Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Air Movement Control Association (AMCA) for compliance and certifications. 

• Candidates should be detail oriented and be able to work in a team environment. 

• Proficiency in Fan Laws and Design Formulas is preferred.

• This position requires a BS Mechanical Engineering degree or five-ten years related experience with a technical background/education.
