Job Description 

MedStar Research Institute is the research arm for MedStar Health, providing scientific, administrative and regulatory support for research programs that complement the key clinical services and teaching programs in all eight hospitals in the MedStar Health system.

The Institute is actively seeking qualified applications for a Research Nurse in our Oncology Research department located in Washington, DC. 

The Research Nurse is responsible for implementing and coordinating oncology clinical research projects.  The incumbent must possess organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to manage multiple duties with close attention to detail.  Will oversee a portfolio of clinical trials, coordinating clinical aspects of protocol implementation and management throughout the protocol life cycle.

Job Requirements 

The ideal candidate will possess:

Education:  Degree in nursing.

Experience:  Minimum of two years of clinical research work in the areas of recruitment, enrollment, monitoring, and reporting data on clinical trial subjects preferred.  Oncology experience highly preferred.
