Quality Assurance Tester

 CPI Corp, owner and operator of Sears Portrait Studios and PictureMe Portrait Studios® in Wal-Mart, is the leading portrait studio operator in North America with over 60 years of portrait photography expertise. We offer photographic services in over three thousand locations in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.  Currently, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our team.  The Quality Assurance Tester will evaluate and test new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.  Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Write test procedures from system requirements and program design.
• Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines.
• Performs testing through manual or automated test scripts designed to verify the program performs to the specifications.
• Observe the computer monitor and processing logs to determine whether the program correctly detects errors and proper program execution.
• Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers and/or business owners.
• Write documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction to conform to regulatory audit requirements.
• Review the software with users for their acceptance prior to the software being moved into a production environment.
