This position coordinates and administers Customer Support services under the direction of the Director of Technical Services and ensures on-going customer satisfaction through good service and follow-up. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing the work flow of a busy department, handling filing, emails, scheduling of meetings and customer appointments.
- Responsible for managing the customer database, maintaining accurate and complete information by interaction with customers and in house personnel.
- Pulling technical reports from hosted systems in preparation for billing.
- Performing administrative duties required to notify customers by email; phone or fax of information regarding their DCC applications.
- Interacting with 3rd party Vendors as required to provide services to customers.
- Creating and maintaining department documentation in coordination with technical staff.
- Performing other duties as assigned by department manager.
- Following workplace operating and environmental, health, and safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience with direct customer contact and expertise in the following areas:
- Must be able to multi task in a fast paced hectic environment.
- Excellent customer service and administrative skills required.
- Experienced with the MS Office suite of products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Outlook.
- Previous experience with a Customer Relationship Management package required.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles a plus.
- Familiarity with web design software a plus.
- Two (2) year degree; or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to effectively respond to questions from customers and in house personnel as required.
