We are currently seeking a 1 ½ year contract Software / Hardware Technologist for our Fortune 500 client located in the Webster, NY market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day development activities.

 

Tasks include but are not limited to

  • Build and adjust mechanisms, assemblies, fixtures or machines to specifications

  • Develop procedures, set up and operate/test equipment and / or assemblies.

  • Work will consist of light development on firmware.



job Requirements

Requirements for Consideration

  • AAS in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • S/W programming skills capable of developing applications to communicate with H/W equipment.
  • Experience with microcontroller F/W development and knowledge of the USB communications protocol are highly desirable.
  • Analog circuit design, specially in the context of short range RF communications (as used in RFID technology) is a plus but not required
