The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia, is in search of an Executive Director, Office of Integrity and Oversight (OIO). This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for directing both the Internal Audit and Internal Security units of the OCFO. The incumbent will provide leadership and direction in the development of OIO programs and objectives and assure proper execution throughout the OCFO.
Serving as OIO’s top management official, you will be the first point of contact for all law enforcement, DC Auditor, DC Inspector General and General Accounting Office issues. Additionally, you will work with senior managers and other District of Columbia agencies on issues of mutual concern involving ethics and integrity and will monitor OCFO’s compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the DC Code and/or DC Laws and Regulations.
Desired candidate should have strong management skills and be able to coach and develop team members, as well as, have demonstrated experience in conducting internal audits and monitoring, evaluating and creating security procedures.
