Description The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is the national association for regulatory agencies for nursing. NCSBN assists and supports boards of nursing to act together on matters of common interest and concern affecting public health, safety, and regulation. This includes the development of national nurse licensing examinations. Currently we are seeking a Multimedia & Graphics Producer, for our Interactive Services Department.

Position creates visual design solutions for all NCSBN Web sites and e-learning offerings. Teams with content and Web producers and is actively involved in all phases of the development and design process including: concept development, look and feel, animation, graphic design, and production.  Develops production and postproduction workflows, creating liaisons with vendors, and delegating to and supervising project staff   Provides production and post-production of still and animated graphics and audio/video for e-learning offerings.  Provides production and post-production for online visual generation of organizational data.  Conducts requirements gathering from internal clients, develops design solutions, and plans the implementation of solutions.  Develops Web graphic design and layouts (skins, elements, icons, templates).  Assesses new standards, technologies and trends in graphic design, multimedia and Web visual communications and formulates strategies and plans for enhancing NCSBN sites.  Develops and/or oversees the graphic design of marketing collateral.  Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

BFA preferred with 6 to 8 years experience in professional positions with a variety of responsibilities in: graphic and Web design, motion graphics, production and post-production; or equivalent combination of training and experience is required.  Supervisory experience a plus.  Creative with strong organizational skills.  Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.  Ability to work independently to resolve client issues and collectively to establish a positive working rapport with all stakeholders.  Ability to work on multiple assignments in a team environment.  Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and flexibility in activities is imperative.  Technical expertise must include graphic design and typography skills.  Active imagination and ability to visualize and model complex data.  Experience with OSX.  Intermediate/advanced expertise with software programs/languages including: Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Flash, Actionscript 2 & 3, Photoshop, Captivate, Dreamweaver and InDesign.  Experience with Adobe Connect and 3D programs a plus.  Experience in Web development, design, and CSS.  Experience in audio and video production/post-production including recording, editing and encoding files.  Must be able to develop the look, feel and design for projects from concept to final executed deliverable.  Must understand business objectives and proactively contribute to the evolution and success of the business
