Risk Management Support Specialist

SECU,Maryland's largest credit union with over $2.0 billion in assets and a commitment to quality service is looking for talented individuals to join our Risk Management Department as a Risk Management Support Specialist. 

As a Risk Management Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing quality internal and external member service by performing administrative duties, related to collection procedures. Additional responsibilities will include: .

• Handle assignments for repossessions and all related loan maintenance.
• Work directly with repossession and insurance vendors to process repossessions.
• Process and balance consumer loan and VISA charge offs, including completing and submitting to management all spreadsheets and printouts. 
• Record and track daily delinquency statistics and collection figures for consumer loans & VISA.
• Daily operational duties - maintain department statistical logs for telephone calls, prepare and deliver branch teller balancing reports, distribute incoming mail to staff, mainatain log for files, process daily Speedpay checks & letters, reconcile monthly invoices, and submit to management for approval for payment.
• Process accounts and disbursements received from credit counseling agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook 
• Previous office/administrative experience
• General knowledge of collections & repossessions.
