MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY IN METRO DETROIT AREA

Dunham's Sports, one of the largest full-line sporting goods chains in the U.S., was founded in 1937 as Dunham's Bait & Tackle. Today we have over 160 stores in 12 Midwest states from Maryland to South Dakota.

We're looking for smiling, enthusiastic individuals with knowledge of sporting goods, merchandising skills and most importantly the ability to provide our customers an excellent level of service. This is a fun, fast paced work environment with variety in the day to day routine.

We are currently seeking MANAGEMENT candidates for our METRO DETROIT AREA.

Responsibilities include operational, merchandising, administrative functions within the store. Leading and training a staff in providing exceptional customer service. Store opening and closing responsibilities.

We are also seeking Key Department Managers. This is an Hourly rate position. Must have retail management experience.

Requirements Retail management experience is required.

Strong organizational and leadership skills necessary, with a hands-on management style. Enthusiasm and initiative are key. Ability and desire to provide our customers with a high level of service, as well as train and motivate the staff to do the same.

Merchandise knowledge preferred, such as apparel, exercise, footwear, field and stream or general athletics, but not necessary.
