Description: Director of Channel Sales, Partners and Alliances
For the experienced Director of Channel Sales with proven results, we are offering an exciting opportunity to work with our established channel partners and be an integral part of the success of a sizable piece of our business valued at over $250MM in annual revenue. We view our channel partners as an important extension of our internal sales team and your job will be to manage those relationships and ensure their sales success by providing excellent support, training and motivation. In addition to a competitive base salary ($125K+) and benefits, you will be compensated on channel partner performance ($225-$300K). This position has the flexibility of working from home and may be based either in any major city with an airport, but preferably the North America, with up to 40% - 50%travel.

Requirements
As our Channel Sales Manager, your mission will be to grow and manage
our existing channel partners to adequately address the market
potential in the assigned territory by ensuring their teams have all of
the resources and support necessary.
Your proven solution selling
technique will allow you to assist our channel sales personnel in
closing difficult sales or potential high volume customers.
You will work with with the regional sales VP, managers and sales teams to form
a synergistic team by managing the activities and deployment of channel
sales personnel assisting them so that they achieve and surpass sales
goals and priorities.
Your software sales and account management experience will allow you to asses the business within our existing customer base and present account growth plans as well as create accurate sales forecasts for those customer accounts.
Proficiency in a CRM, preferably Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office will enable
you to easily keep accurate records and create activity reports as well
as Excel spreadsheets.
