Job Description 

Our Professional Division is working with an active and expanding Health Government Relations lobbying firm.  Our client has an immediate opening for Senior Government Relations Managers (SGRM).   The successful candidate will have expertise in health policy and federal legislative, appropriations, and regulatory processes.

Position Duties:

·          Manages the work associated with a portfolio of clients.

·          Represents and works primarily for non-profit patient advocacy, health professional, non-profit                                                                          hospital systems, and medical device companies.

·          Provide clients with strategic advice.

·          All written materials necessary to support client initiatives.

·          Grassroots advocacy assistance.

·          Representation before Capitol Hill, federal agencies, and coalitions.

Job Requirements 

·          Bachelor’s degree required.

·          Minimum 5 years of experience within the health care realm-ideally in a combination of time on Capitol Hill and lobbying in Washington for advocacy organizations and/or trade association.

.          Must have experience with Global Health Initiatives.

.          Must have non-profit experience

·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·          Proven track record of initiating and leading projects independently to completion.

·          Experience in public relations and/or communications and media work a plus.
